Join us on May 27th, 2026, at North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center to provide resources with care and compassion that help our community thrive while embracing aging! Visitors are welcome to browse, participate, or lend a helping hand.

Please let us know if you would like to support in any of the following ways:

Event Setup/Wrap up: Ensure that the venue is set up to accommodate the planned activities. This includes arranging seating for breaks, setting up activity stations, and ensuring clear signage to guide participants. After the event concludes, coordinate a cleanup effort to ensure that the venue is left in good condition. Registration: Streamline the check in process where participants can sign in, receive any necessary materials or equipment, and get oriented to the event schedule and layout. Hydration and Refreshments: Prepare water stations throughout the venue. Offer snacks or refreshments to keep participants energized and hydrated. Direct people to designated areas where participants can take breaks, socialize, and recharge between activities. Engagement and Interaction: Volunteers may help distribute schedules, outreach materials and other goodies while fostering a sense of community throughout the event.

Your Role Includes:

Supporting staff and fellow volunteers during meal service

Location: North Valley Senior Center
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Help Brew Community and Connection—One Cup at a Time!

We’re looking for a Coffee Maker Volunteer to help prepare and serve coffee for seniors at our center. If you enjoy simple kitchen tasks, a warm environment, and making people smile, this role is for you!

Duties:

Brew and set up coffee each morning

Monitor supplies and restock as needed

Keep coffee station clean and organized

Greet and engage with members in a friendly manner

You’ll Be Great If You:

Are dependable and arrive on time

Can work independently and follow simple instructions

Can lift coffee supplies or use a standard coffee maker

The Department of Senior Affairs, Recreation Program is recruiting a new volunteer instructor to help people learn to navigate technology at North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center!

 

If selected, you will lead weekly gatherings to teach tech basics to people in need (i.e. senior adults).

Preferred candidates will have knowledge spanning various devices as well as useful programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Canva, etc.).

 

Participants are welcome to bring personal devices for demonstration purposes.

Manzano Mesa Multigenerational center is looking for a tech savvy volunteer to help read or share answers in the chat or through Zoom on the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Thursdays of every month for different online activities.

Volunteer will:

help in setting up online class,help in getting seniors logged in,type in chat or speak through zoom to communicate with instructor and other centers that join.

Activities for each Thursday include trivia games, digital literacy class, and bingo game.
