Volunteer: Duke City Marathon - volunteer flaggersThe Duke City Marathon is one of the top 25 marathons in the world! Come show your support by volunteering to assist as a flagger at intersections of small residential streets on Rio Grande Blvd. Your duty will be to hold cars at the stop signs until the runners have passed. As a flagger you will make sure a car does not pull into the intersection and cause a runner to stop. You can have your car at your post, or Parks & Recreation can drop you off at your post and pick you up. An orientation will take place at Civic Plaza on Wednesday, October 15th at 6:00pm to provide intersection assignments, flag, high-vis vest, and instructions.
