ALA Orientation: Your First Step to Membership

Click here to register for orientation.

Before joining the Assistance League of Albuquerque (ALA), all prospective members are required to attend an Orientation Class. This in-person session offers a meaningful introduction to our mission, programs, and community — and is the first step toward becoming an engaged member.

When and Where
Orientation is held on the last Saturday of select months, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Register to see when the next one occurs!

What You’ll Learn
During this class, you’ll receive a member orientation notebook and gain a comprehensive understanding of:

The history and purpose of ALA

Our nine philanthropic programs and the lives they impact

Volunteer opportunities and ways to participate meaningfully

Administrative policies and membership expectations

A guided tour of our facilities

Requirements and Membership Details

Orientation is required before membership

Attendees must be at least 18 years of age

Annual dues of $75 are collected upon joining (credit card, cash, or check accepted)

Our facilities are ADA accessible

Virtual classes are not available

Action Required
All prospective members must submit a membership inquiry through our website prior to attending orientation. This allows us to prepare materials and confirm attendance.

Please visit our website to complete the inquiry form.

We look forward to welcoming you into our community of volunteers dedicated to making a difference.
