Volunteers at the Roadrunner Food Pantry will assist community members in a variety of ways.  Volunteers must be 16 years or older and will be cross trained to fulfill any of the following tasks as needed:

Volunteer: Food Warehouse Volunteer

Warehouse volunteers are trained to check, clean, label, sort, repack, and box food items, which will then be made available to our partner agencies for distribution in New Mexico.  

Minimum age for warehouse volunteering is 8 years Children and teens between 8 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult Warehouse volunteers should be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time Volunteers should be in relatively good health to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching We are a fully functioning food warehouse, so volunteers may be working near large equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
