Our pets are looking for caring community members to help them relax, recharge, and shine their brightest for potential adopters — and you can be that helping hand (and heart!).

For our Doggie Day Out Opportunities we are looking for compassionate people who can take a shelter pet out and about for a day on the town.

Enjoy activities like:

Let's come together in our local communities to make our city shine ahead of the best time of year in Albuquerque! The City of Albuquerque Solid Waste Management Department and Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, in partnership with Imagine ABQ and the Parks and Recreation Department, invite you to take part in the annual Fiesta Fanatics Neighborhood Cleanup. Held one week before the 54th Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, this citywide volunteer effort brings neighbors together to help make Albuquerque clean, welcoming, and ready to shine.

Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or neighborhood association and organize a cleanup in your community. Whether it's a park, trail, street, or neighborhood entrance, every cleanup helps create a cleaner, more beautiful Albuquerque for residents and the hundreds of thousands of visitors who travel here for Balloon Fiesta each year.

The Solid Waste Management Department will provide cleanup supplies and arrange collection of all bagged litter from one central pickup location for each registered neighborhood cleanup.

Cleanup supplies include:

Garbage bags

Litter pickers

Gloves

Safety vests

Collected litter will be picked up and properly disposed of by the Solid Waste Management Department's Clean Cities Division.

Big Brothers Big Sisters exists to create positive change in our community by matching youth with adult mentors to build powerful friendships. Volunteers tell us that being a mentor is one of the best experiences that they have ever had. It’s also not as time consuming as they thought it would be!

Our Mentor 2.0 program is tailored for working professionals ages 21+ who hold an associates degree or equivalent work experience (or higher). You will be matched with a high school student at South Valley Academy. Through weekly remote messages and once-per-month get togethers at the school, you'll help your mentee prepare for high school graduation and develop their college and career readiness!

Calling all fixers, makers, and repair pros — we need coaches for our Summer Fix-It Clinic!

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, in partnership with Fuse Makerspace, is gearing up for our next Summer Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, August 8, and we’re looking for skilled volunteers to help community members bring their broken items back to life.

At the Fix-It Clinic, residents bring household items like bikes, electronics, small appliances, sewing projects, jewelry, and more to learn how to repair them alongside experienced coaches. It’s a hands-on opportunity to share skills, reduce waste, keep usable items out of the landfill, and help build a more sustainable Albuquerque.

Our last clinic welcomed nearly 100 participants and helped repair almost 200 items—and we’re excited to make this summer’s event even bigger.

If you have experience with sewing, woodworking, leatherwork, electronics, small appliances, jewelry repair, or general fixing and troubleshooting, we’d love to have you join us as a coach.

Help kick off Balloon Fiesta season by building one of the event's most impactful sustainability initiatives! Join the Fiesta Fanatics – Bike Valet Construction volunteer team as we partner with the City of Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Department to assemble the Bike Valet check-in corral, making it easier for thousands of visitors to choose a bicycle over a car. Every rider who bikes to Balloon Fiesta helps reduce traffic congestion, emissions, and parking demand, making the Bike Valet an important part of creating a cleaner, more sustainable celebration.

Volunteers will help move and position heavy crowd-control barriers under the direction of Parks & Recreation staff to construct the secure bike storage area. Because this work involves lifting and carrying barriers, volunteers should be comfortable lifting at least 30 pounds throughout the shift.

As one of the first volunteer teams to begin preparing for the world's largest hot air balloon event, you'll play a direct role in helping Balloon Fiesta start on the right foot. Volunteers will receive a complimentary lunch, have opportunities to win giveaways provided by Parks & Recreation, and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing they've helped create a greener, more accessible Balloon Fiesta for everyone.

Volunteers may assist with office organization, filing, paperwork, preparing materials, volunteer support, answering phones, and helping keep the office running smoothly.

This volunteer opportunity is available Monday through Thursday between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Volunteers are not expected to serve every day. Instead, our Office Support Coordinator will contact you to discuss your availability and work with you to create a schedule that fits both your availability and the needs of NAMI Albuquerque.

In partnership with City Councilor Klarissa Peña and the City of Albuquerque's Solid Waste Department and Transit Department,  Adopt-A-Stop is rolling out our Cruisers for Route 66 Program!

In preparation for the Centennial Birthday Celebration of Route 66, we are showing compassion and care for our city! Local lowrider car clubs across Albuquerque are "adopting" sections of Route 66 (either a median or a bus stop) and volunteering to clean and maintain them, and get our streets ready for cruisin'! 

Car club members will volunteer their organizations time to clean the stop(s) they adopt, as well as coordinate with team members from Transit and Solid Waste to adopt the spots along Route 66.

Car clubs can adopt bus stops or street medians through opportunities listed here on our organization's page!

Position Information: Museum Greeters welcome visitors warmly as they enter and circulate within the Balloon Museum. They offer directional information, provide low-key guidance, and answer general questions about the museum and Fiesta. We will provide you with plenty of training and information. This position offers a great opportunity to meet people from all around the world!

Specific stations will be assigned at the start of each shift and may rotate to meet the needs of the moment. We are hoping to have 6 Greeters on each shift to allow for optimum flexibility.

Considerations: Continuous standing and mobility required inside and occasionally outside the museum. Accommodations can be made for periodic seating if physical conditions require. Breaks provided during each shift.

Program Overview - What is Read to the Dogs?
Read to the Dogs is a program sponsored by the Public Library Albuquerque and Bernalillo
County. Handlers bring their registered pet therapy dogs into the library and provide children with
an opportunity to read aloud. The registered pet therapy dog sits calmly and quietly for a story,
creating a relaxing atmosphere for children. This gives children an opportunity to practice their
reading skills without fear or judgment. The adults do not correct a child’s reading. Parents may sit
quietly in the room with their child or take this moment to find a book and read just outside the
program area. You can read more about it here.
Why dogs?
The Public Library is pleased to provide this nationally recognized program to our families. In a 10
week study by the University of California, researchers found a 12 percent increase in reading
fluency by one group and no improvement by the group that didn't read to dogs. It was reported
by 75 percent of the parents that their children read aloud more frequently and with greater
confidence after reading to the dogs. Children who practice reading have greater success in school
and children who feel successful go on to read at higher grade levels. The Public Library hopes
through this program children will relate to reading in a positive way and become lifelong readers.
How can I participate in this program with my dog?
All dogs in this program are trained and registered in a dog therapy group. All Read to the Dog
volunteers must belong to one of the following groups:
Southwest Canine Corps
Alliance of Therapy Dogs
Warm Hearts Network
High Desert Therapy Dogs
Please visit these websites for more information about joining a dog therapy group.
After completing the testing and registration process with one of the therapy groups listed above,
you will need to upload the relevant documentation. This includes a copy of the membership card
or certificate from one of the above organizations; and a current health form from one of the above
listed organizations (proof of rabies vaccination is included on this form).

Additionally, you as a handler will need to pass a criminal background check and receive a Certificate of Compliance from Library Admin. Furthermore, the Certificate of Compliance can be completed by contacting the Library Admin at this email address: bwolff@cabq.gov. 

City policy requires anyone who wishes to volunteer at the Library to consent to the performance of a background investigation by an outside agency. There is no cost to you.

A new volunteer may not participate in the Program until you have been approved. After approval,
you may participate in the Read to the Dogs program at any of the six (6) participating Libraries.
Please note that teams from the other agencies may be present at the same time you are.

Volunteer Intern

The Albuquerque Police Department Volunteer Intern Program provides college students and individuals interested in public service with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting the Department's mission.

Volunteer interns assist with administrative projects, community outreach, special events, and other support functions that help sworn officers and civilian staff better serve the community. Through this experience, interns develop professional skills, gain insight into law enforcement operations, and make meaningful contributions to the Albuquerque Police Department.

Whether you are exploring a career in law enforcement, criminal justice, public administration, or community service, the Volunteer Intern Program offers valuable experience while making a positive impact in our community.

As a volunteer for RCC-SANE some of your tasks can consist of answering a 24/7 crisis hotline, shadowing medical exams, shadowing law enforcement interviews, shadowing judicial appearances and community ed as well as many other different opportunities with assisting victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Sex trafficking.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico has partnered with Lutheran Family Services to create a new youth-serving mentorship program. Through our Refugee Youth Program we are creating positive change in our community by matching young refugee students with adult mentors to create powerful mentoring friendships that help refugee youth achieve their best possible outcomes!

The mentors (aka Bigs) provide their refugee youth mentees (aka Littles) with social, emotional, and educational support. Together, the Bigs and Littles experience mutual learning and cultural integration that creates a ripple effect of positive change in our community.

As a mentor in the Refugee Youth Program you will...

No special experience is required, just consistency, kindness, and a willingness to show up. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff will provide mentorship training, resources, support, and guidance throughout your journey as Big and Little.

Mentors in the Refugee Youth Program must be at least 18 years of age. We ask for a one-year volunteer commitment when you are matched with your Little. Mentors must pass a background check, provide fingerprints, and complete an interview before being matched with a Little.

The Foster Grandparent Program connects role models like you with schools and programs to serve young people with exceptional needs. 

Volunteers serve an average of 20 hours a week. The Foster Grandparent Program provides all volunteers with orientation, on-going training, travel reimbursements, meals and supplemental insurance while serving, and annual recognition events. Income-eligible volunteers receive a non-taxable, hourly stipend.

All you need to join is the ability to give the kind of comfort and love that sets a child on the path toward a successful future. If you're 55 or older and want to share your experience and compassion, you have what it takes to be a Foster Grandparent.

Each week, in partnership with Roadrunner Food Bank, we distribute food to families in our community. Volunteers help unload deliveries, set up distribution tables, organize food items, assist with registration and line management, and help ensure that families move through the process efficiently and respectfully.

This is direct, people-centered work. You will meet neighbors, support families, and help create an organized and welcoming environment during distribution hours.

Event Description

UNM Hospital invites you to support a day of education, empowerment, and community engagement focused on multicultural diabetes wellness. Join us for a free event that will provide community members with valuable knowledge, connect them with expert healthcare professionals, and provide essential resources to support their journey toward better diabetes management.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Westgate  Community Center, 10001 De Vargas Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121, from 10 am- 1 pm

Of note: you must be 12 years of age or older to volunteer, and anyone between the ages of 12-15 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Roles and responsibilities of a board member:

1. Articulate and live the purpose and values of the association and guide the association in achieving its goals

Read to the Dogs is a program sponsored by the Public Library Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. Handlers bring their registered pet therapy dogs into the library and provide children with an opportunity to read aloud. The registered pet therapy dog sits calmly and quietly for a story, creating a relaxing atmosphere for children. This gives children an opportunity to practice their reading skills without fear or judgment. The adults do not correct a child’s reading. Parents may sit quietly in the room with their child or take this moment to find a book and read just outside the program area. You can read more about it here.

The Public Library is pleased to provide this nationally recognized program to our families. In a 10 week study by the University of California, researchers found a 12 percent increase in reading fluency by one group and no improvement by the group that didn't read to dogs. It was reported by 75 percent of the parents that their children read aloud more frequently and with greater confidence after reading to the dogs. Children who practice reading have greater success in school and children who feel successful go on to read at higher grade levels. The Public Library hopes through this program children will relate to reading in a positive way and become lifelong readers.

All dogs in this program are trained and registered in a dog therapy group. All Read to the Dog volunteers must belong to one of the following groups:

Adult Volunteer Opportunity: Help teach kids (or adults) how to play Magic the Gathering!

The Westgate Library hosts a weekly MTG night, and we need volunteers to help teach kids how to play and generally facilitate those who already understand the game, run tournaments etc...

As a volunteer, you’ll assist with:
Sorting cards
Creating balanced decks for kids to try out
Overseeing overall play and being there if anyone needs help with rules
Teaching new players how to play

Volunteers are welcome to join in on the battling as well.

Monthly Book Sale Set-up and Clean-up

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to turn the community room in the Main Library into a vibrant book sale room on a monthly basis—and to return the space to a neat and clean state after the sale. The Monthly Book Sale is a major source of funding for the Friends of the Public Library, funding that goes directly to supporting the vital programs of the Library.

The Monthly Book Sale is on the second Saturday of each month. Set-up is on Monday and Tuesday the week before the sale and clean-up is on Monday and Tuesday following the book sale. Volunteer shifts are 10:30 am to 1:30 pm or noon to 3 pm.

All work will be done with guidance from experienced volunteers. 

Volunteers should be: able to bend, lift, reach, and squat and able to lift 20 lbs without strain. 

Set-up and Clean-up Tasks Include: 

We are an engaged and welcoming volunteer team and would be thrilled to have some new members. Beverages and snacks are available for all volunteers. Free parking is available for volunteers during their shifts. 

Be among the first to see what's going to be in our Bookshop and monthly book sale! Sorting and pricing volunteers assist with going through donations, pricing items and categorizing and shelving them in our office. All volunteers should complete a background check and attend a new volunteer orienation prior to their first shift.

Volunteers at the Roadrunner Food Pantry will assist community members in a variety of ways.  Volunteers must be 16 years or older and will be cross trained to fulfill any of the following tasks as needed:

We need a few friendly faces to volunteer as Hospitality Volunteers. Hospitality Volunteers help set up and serve a light meal, and then help clean up afterwards. The time commitment is 1 hour, twice per month -- from September to May. You will be needed from 5:15-6:15pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening (1st and 3rd weeks of the month), or 11:15am-12:15pm on Wednesday (2nd and 4th weeks of the month).

Volunteer Bereavement Facilitators are the backbone of our program. They lead grief support groups for children, teens, or adults at the Center for Hope and Healing in Albuquerque. Facilitators are trained, teamed up with an experienced facilitator, and supported by our staff. Facilitators are from all backgrounds and don't need experience in support groups or counseling. As one of our volunteers wrote, “This is the most rewarding thing I do.” The time commitment is approximately 3.5 hours twice a month for one service year (September to May), after completing the initial training. NAMI Albuquerque is seeking volunteers to help prepare for the FaithNet Conference before the event begins. This behind-the-scenes volunteer opportunity is perfect for individuals who enjoy organizing, working as a team, and helping create a successful event.

Volunteers will assist with assembling conference materials, stuffing swag bags, organizing name badges and lanyards, preparing registration packets, organizing supplies, setting up refreshments for volunteers, and making sure everything is packed and ready for the conference. No prior experience is necessary—just bring a positive attitude and a willingness to help.

Approximately 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Help us capture the story of the conference! We are looking for volunteer photographers to document the day's activities, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, and the meaningful connections taking place throughout the event.

No professional photography experience is required. If you enjoy taking photos and would like to help, we'd love to have you join us. If you have your own camera or photography equipment, please let us know when you sign up, but it is not required.

There are three volunteer shifts available throughout the day, allowing you to choose the time that works best for your schedule.

Once all photographer volunteer positions have been filled, we'll schedule a brief meeting before the conference to review the photography plan, answer questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable with their role.

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, in partnership with FUSE Makerspace, is gearing up for our next Summer Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, August 8, and we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help keep the event running smoothly behind the scenes.

Volunteer coordinators play a vital role in making the clinic a success. Coordinators assist with event logistics, including set-up and tear-down, volunteer and participant check-in, organizing materials and workspaces, coordinating repair services, directing attendees, and supporting other event needs as they arise throughout the day.

Our last clinic welcomed nearly 100 participants and helped repair almost 200 items—and we're excited to make this summer's event even bigger.

NMILC's mission is to advance justice and equity by empowering low-income immigrant communities through collaborative legal services, advocacy, and education. We are a 501(c)3 that collaborates closely with our partner organizations to meet the continuing and emergent needs of our community. This Accompaniment Volunteer Role is part of NMILC's Family Preparedness program, which supports immigrant family members to think through preparing in case of deportation or detention, ensuring their household has plans in place to care for their children and protecting their property/assets. Accompaniment Volunteers play an integral role by prioritizing the impacted people’s safety and wellbeing, supporting them in creating an emergency family preparedness plan and establishing a “circle of protection” made up of client/immigrant community member’s own trusted contacts, accompanying NMILC clients/immigrant community members to their ICE check-ins or court hearings, and supporting with follow up/referrals as needed. Through this work, Accompaniment Volunteers play a vital role in furthering NMILC’s vision of a more just New Mexico for all of us.

Volunteer eligibility/expectations:

This program is intended for experienced and vetted volunteers with the demonstrated cultural awareness and commitment to centering the safety, agency, and well-being of immigrants. 

For volunteers that will physically accompany an immigrant onsite to immigration court or an ICE office, we highly encourage this role solely for U.S. citizens. There are other ways you can volunteer with NMILC if you are not a U.S. citizen.

Immigrant accompaniment requires you to have flexible availability and reliable transportation to respond to accompaniment requests as we receive them. These requests may entail accompaniment to either immigration courthouse hearings or ICE check-ins. Volunteers without access to their own vehicles are still welcome to join. 

Immigrant accompaniment requires you to use both Signal and Whatsapp messaging applications for secure and effective correspondence. 

NMILC Accompaniment Volunteers must avoid engaging with ICE officers or other authorities while accompanying clients/community members; volunteers in this role must prioritize the wellbeing of the immigrant and therefore avoid agitating any agents present. While on-the-ground protest is an important aspect of the immigrant rights movement, volunteers in this role must not participate in such actions while actively engaging in accompaniment. 

Volunteers are expected to share and maintain your own boundaries around levels of social or emotional support you are willing to provide. 

Volunteers are asked to attend recurring accompaniment trainings to stay up to date on emergent needs or changes within the program, as well as participate in continued learning and political education.

Volunteer responsibilities/duties:

Accompaniment is a form of community and solidarity. Volunteers observe, support, and empower participants during interactions with institutions, helping ensure transparency, safety and respect while centering the participants voice and choices. This involves:

Moral/Social Support: Train to build empathy and prioritize impacted people's safety, interests, and well-being always.  

Preparedness: Complete a family preparedness workbook with the accompaniment client. Think through every stage of the work, before/during/after an in-person accompaniment, considering risks of the non-citizen, the volunteers, and the data involved.

Helpline Volunteers will further NMILC’s mission by providing preliminary call screening services to help triage callers’ needs, thereby expanding legal representatives’ capacity to reach a broader population of community members in need of immigration legal services. Through this work, Helpline Volunteers play an integral role in furthering NMILC’s vision of a more just New Mexico for all of us.

Volunteer eligibility/expectations:

This program is intended for experienced and vetted volunteers with the demonstrated cultural awareness and commitment to centering the safety, agency, and well-being of immigrants. 

Volunteers in this role are required to speak Spanish and English fluently. 

Ideally, volunteers will have some customer service and/or database experience.

Volunteers will be asked to commit to phone line triage shifts of 1-4 hours/week, on a consistent weekly basis. 

Volunteers are asked to commit to 6-months of weekly volunteer shifts. 

Volunteer responsibilities/duties:

During weekly Helpine Volunteer shifts, the volunteer will answer calls through NMILC’s DialPad phone system to triage callers’ needs, record detailed notes in NMILC’s case management database, and refer callers to appropriate resources as needed. 

Volunteers are not expected to have in-depth legal knowledge and must not provide legal advice, as this would be considered unauthorized practice of law. 

Required training/onboarding: 

Helpline Volunteers will be trained through a combination of virtual Zoom trainings and required shadowing.  Volunteers will be asked to commit to 10-15 hours of training and shadowing prior to beginning volunteer shifts.

All volunteers are required to complete NMILC’s volunteer onboarding process, which includes signing a Confidentiality and Conduct Agreement, Interacting with Participating Minors Policy, and a Communications Agreement.

You will not be considered an active volunteer in this role until our staff receive confirmation from you that you have completed all of the above onboarding steps.

Volunteers will check out one NMILC laptop and headset to use for the duration of volunteering with NMILC. Volunteers are required to use this device for confidentiality and compliance purposes.   

Time commitment/expected hours of service: ~1-4 hours/week (opportunity for more if desired), requested commitment of 6-months.

Volunteers support NMILC's Deportation Defense team who make biweekly visits to Cibola County Corrections Center. Volunteers must have all-day availability on the day of scheduled visits (usually Thursdays or Fridays) and must complete volunteer onboarding/detention volunteer training. Volunteers must be fluent in Spanish and English. Our programs at the Cibola County Corrections Centers take place approximately twice each month.  We provide pro se assistance, consultations, screenings, and legal presentations to folks in detention.  Non-attorney volunteers support this program by giving Know Your Rights presentations, helping applicants fill out forms, and providing logistical support.

NMILC's Wednesday Workshops are walk-in workshops where volunteers support with intakes and forms preparation for community members seeking assistance with their pro se applications for citizenship, residency renewals, or DACA renewals. Volunteers must speak Spanish. Training is provided. This workshop takes place at El Centro de Igualdad y Derechos (Address: 714 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102) from 1-5:00 PM on the 1st and/or 3rd Wednesday of each month.

West Fest is a community meeting disguised as a party!  This year's event is on October 17th 2026 at the Route 66 Visitor Center.  The event celebrates the west central community while listening to live music, shopping at local vendors, eating at a selection of food trucks and enjoying an exhibit of classic cars from different genre's in the parking lot.   The volunteers will be given vouchers to use at our food trucks as they help us manage up to 1000 participants.   Your day will begin at 10 and end at 5 with break time during the day.  Your day of volunteering could be spent helping kids in the kid zone,  directing vendors,  helping with community raffle, or working at the car exhibit.

Dash for the Trash is an exciting community event hosted by Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and the City of Albuquerque Solid Waste Management Department, combining environmental stewardship, friendly competition, and outdoor recreation to help beautify our beloved Bosque.

This isn't your traditional cleanup! Participants will hit the trails on foot through designated areas of the Bosque with one goal in mind: collect as much litter as possible. Individuals and teams will compete to see who can remove the most trash and debris, with prizes awarded to the top individual collectors and the top-performing groups.

The competitive element adds a fun twist while highlighting an important message: every piece of litter removed makes a difference. Whether you're a seasoned cleanup volunteer or simply looking for a unique way to give back to your community, Dash for the Trash offers everyone an opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Our program's mission is to utilize community volunteers to assist the Albuquerque Police Department in improving the quality of life in our community. 

Even though volunteers are not commissioned with sworn officer status, the duties that you will perform as part of the Department’s support staff are crucial to the Department. Sworn officers and civilian employees handle some of the administrative tasks with which you will be involved. By assisting with these tasks, you are releasing officers to handle higher priority calls for service, assisting civilian employees which will help them to serve in a pro-active capacity in the community. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how Ciqlovía comes to life! Volunteers will help transform the route in the days leading up to the event by installing colorful murals, setting up demonstration bike lanes, placing event elements, and helping create exciting spaces for the community to enjoy.

Be part of the team that turns everyday streets into a vibrant, people-powered experience!

Help close out an amazing day at Ciqlovía! Volunteers will assist with taking down signage, canopies, and event materials, cleaning up the route, and helping ensure everything is packed up safely and efficiently after the event.

Keep the Ciqlovía vibes rolling! Cruise along the route, cheer on participants, answer questions, and help guide people in the right direction. You'll be a friendly face helping everyone have a safe and fun experience.

Recommended: Bring a bike, skateboard, scooter, roller skates, or any non-motorized wheels to help you move easily along the route!

Volunteers will assist with setting up route signage, canopies, and respite zones, as well as helping with light clean-up and other event logistics to get the route ready for participants.

Considerations: Continuous standing, walking, and bending required inside and potentially outside of the museum around the STEAM night activity stations.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Walks are the easiest way to introduce people to suicide prevention education and advocacy. The Walks are an opportunity to find a supportive community of people who get it, to know you're not alone, and to make a difference together.

All Out of the Darkness Walks are planned by volunteers, and we are looking for people interested in helping plan this year's Albuquerque walk! Currently we meet on the first Tuesday of the month virtually, and provide updates for the walk planning. The amount of volunteering hours is entirely dependent on the requirements per category volunteer.

4 PM – 5:30 PM – Assist in preparing dinner & dessert and setting it out for guests.

5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Wash dishes, put food away, and wipe down counters.

No experience needed — just curiosity.

Do you like working with individuals with disabilities?  This position will be assisting our riders when necessary to accomplish the tasks involved in grooming, tacking, mounting, dismounting, and riding in the arena.  You must be able to assist riders during an emergency dismount, if needed.  You should be healthy and strong enough to lift at least 50 lbs and walk or trot beside a horse for a minimum of 30 minutes.  This job requires you to be physically fit and free of back and shoulder challenges.  Your personal well-being is important to us, too.  You will be asked to help with stall maintenance, as well.

Some riders need two sidewalkers per lesson.
