Every course we build reaches learners who've been failed by traditional education — GED students, aspiring entrepreneurs, kids discovering STEM for the first time. The difference between another boring module and something that actually sticks? Gamification. And that's where you come in.
The courses are already built. Your job is to create the games that bring them to life. STEM is Child's Play Foundation is looking for volunteers who know how to use existing third-party gamification tools to add Jeopardy-style reviews, Kahoot competitions, Minecraft Education activities, escape rooms, trivia challenges, and other proven game formats to our Canvas LMS courses. We're not building games from scratch.
We're taking finished course content and turning it into game night. This position pays a stipend and is 100% online. Work from anywhere. We know your skills are worth something, and we're putting real money behind that. What you'd do Take our existing Canvas LMS courses — AI literacy, test prep, entrepreneurship, and STEM — and build the games that match the content. Jeopardy boards, Kahoot decks, Quizizz sets, Blooket games, Genially interactives, Minecraft Education lessons. Write the questions, structure the rounds, and embed the finished games into the right modules.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with third-party gamification and game-based learning platforms — Kahoot, Quizizz, Blooket, Gimkit, Genially, JeopardyLabs, Minecraft Education, Classcraft, or similar Comfort embedding third-party tools into an LMS (Canvas experience a strong plus)
Solid content skills — you can write clear, engaging questions and structure a round of play Instructional design or teaching background helpful but not required
Self-directed and comfortable working remotely Examples of past gamified content welcome. Courses are ready. Games are waiting to be built. If you know these tools and love turning lessons into play, we want you.
