Vigil Volunteers offer presence, comfort, and peace during one of life’s most sacred transitions. Whether it’s sitting quietly at the bedside, offering a gentle touch, reading softly, or simply being a calming presence, your companionship can bring immeasurable comfort to patients and families in their final moments.

No medical experience is required—only kindness, reliability, and the desire to ensure that no one spends their last moments alone. Gentiva is an outpatient hospice, providing comfort care wherever the patient calls home, including nursing homes, private residences, and assisted living communities.
