Hello.
We are grateful that you are wanting to join the Albuquerque Open Space Trail Watch Volunteer Program. The Trail Watch Volunteers are the Eyes, Ears, and Smiling Faces of the Open Space Division. The City of Albuquerque has over 30,000 acres of Open Space lands in our care and your help in watching over these lands is invaluable.
On Saturday, February 28th, we will be conducting a training for the Trail Watch Volunteer applicants, reviewing a little about the history of the Open Space Division and mostly cover information about the responsibilities and requirements of being a Trail Watch Volunteer. Training and a background check are required to become a Trail Watch Volunteer. The training will be from 9:00 -12:00 at the Open Space Visitor Center 6500 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120 in the Meeting Room. There will be a sign-in sheet so we can track attendance. I encourage you to bring water or something to drink and something to take notes if you find that helpful. There will be some light snacks and we will take a short break during the training session.
Please Remember, Registration is required to attend!
