Join us in commemorating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by volunteering for the MLK March on Saturday, January 13th, at Civic Plaza. As a member of the Setup and/or Breakdown Crew, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up event infrastructure
- Ensure a welcoming environment for participants.
- Support the event organizers in any additional setup tasks as needed.
After the march:
- Efficiently break down event components and return the venue to its original state.
- Assist in cleaning the area and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Collaborate with fellow volunteers to ensure a swift and organized breakdown process.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
- Physical fitness to engage in setup and breakdown activities.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a meaningful community event.
- Willingness to commit time on Saturday, January 13th, for both setup and breakdown phases.
