NTO is an area volunteer that does most of their volunteer service from the comfort of their home/ office and in their spare time. A marketing/ sales background is helpful as you will be contacting churches and private school to offer them to add Trail Life to the ministries they have right now.
All the material you will need will be supplied by Trail Life for you to show the prospect. You can start by offer it to the church you attend now or share with friends and families in your area or anywhere in New Mexico as they will be your door opener to the church instead of making cold calls.
You will need to go to www.traillifeusa.com to express your interest in this position and I will follow up with you. This is a boys ministry so a male NTO is recommended. Trail Life will do a background check at no cost and you will need to do a CSYPT training online as at some point you might be around children.
When the prospect decides they are interested, they will go to www.traillifeusa.com and express their interest to start the group. At this time you will introduce them to the person that will help them with the rest of the process.
