Help with sorting donations, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and keeping our store running smoothly. Every task you do helps support survivors of domestic violence in our community.
Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
You can volunteer for 4–8 hour shifts— choose what works best for you! Please feel free to write in the comment box what your availability is! 

10 am-2 pm/1 pm-5 pm/10 am-5 pm - Once a week, Multiple days a week, Bi-weekly, etc!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Maintains a professional and pleasant retail environment by keeping the store and the grounds in a neat, clean and orderly appearance.

2. Follows security policies and procedures.

3. Prepares donated items for retail sale including sorting, tagging, pricing and rearranging merchandise, as needed.

4. Disposes of, or coordinates the disposal of, unwanted donations.

5. Accepts donations brought to the store including unloading items from donor vehicles.

6. Maintain a consistently respectful, courteous, positive, cooperative, courteous and professional demeanor with residents, coworkers, donors and others.

7. Work as an effective team member to ensure the highest quality and most relevant services are provided to customers and to help further the mission of the agency.

8. Provide reliable information in spoken and written communications with no intentional falsehoods, omissions or exaggerations.

9. Adhere to agency policies and procedures. Adhere to letter and spirit of laws, regulations and policies. Maintain the confidentiality of residents, employees and agency confidential information.

· Have close and distant vision capability.

· Frequently stand, walk, crawl, lift, sit, bend, reach, kneel, or crouch.

· Use hands and fingers, handle and feel objects, tools or controls

ACCOUNTABILITY

This position will report directly to the Thrift Store Manager and the Volunteer Manager
