Bike to Wherever Day is back! And the City of Albuquerque is looking for volunteers to staff stations.
How will volunteers help out?
We will be handing out swag and bike safety information and cheering on people riding their bikes on Bike to Wherever Day. Because of Sandia National Lab work schedules, this table will be open on Wednesday, May 17 rather than on Bike to Wherever Day (May 19). Volunteers will be provided with necessary materials and will be expected to complete shifts without supervision.
There will be up to 6 volunteers at each location - we encourage you to sign up to work the shift with friends or coworkers! Just send them the link to this page. Volunteers will receive a limited edition Bike to Wherever Day pin and a big thank-you from the Bike to Wherever Day Team!
We will reach out to registered volunteers closer to the date of the event with additional details. If you are interested in being a volunteer captain, please reach out to info@bikethruburque.com.
Where and when?
This table will be set up at Tedd Hobbs Park. Volunteers will arrive at 6 AM to be set up by 6:30 AM. Take down will occur at 9 AM. Note that this table will be open on Wednesday, April 17 (not Friday!!!!)
