Logistics for Volunteers 

• Day: Saturday, June 22nd, 2024
• Time of Arrival: 3:00 PM
• Meet at Civic Plaza Center
• *Underground Parking is free from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Upon arrival, volunteers will be trained and prepared for the event. 
• Event End Time: 8:00 PM
• Clean Up: Volunteers will help clean up between 7:45 PM to 8:30 PM
• Dress COOL; Bring sunscreen, a hat, and/or an umbrella

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities

GREETERS/HOSPITALITY  (4 volunteers needed)

1. Roles: 
1. Receive and welcome people as they attend. 
2. Give directions at the event (Restrooms, Food, Events, Parking, etc.) 
3. Answer guest questions to the best of their ability 
2. Stations: 
1. Around the plaza where there is an influx of people. Presumably these will be by the parking entrances by the stairs as well as the entrances to the left and right of the main stage. People will be coming from multiple directions so just be ready to move to where there is an influx of people. 

WATER STATION ATTENDANT (2 volunteers needed)

1. Roles: 
1. Attend the effectiveness and hygiene of the water station.  
2. Assist guests in hydration 
2. Stations: 
1. Civic Plaza Center 

VENDOR GUIDES (Opening): (4 volunteers needed)

1. Roles: 
1. Receive and guide vendors as they park and assist in the setup of vendor  materials.
2. Inform guests about food and drink options. 
2. Stations: 
1. East side of the Civic Plaza next to the Convention Center

VENDOR GUIDES (Closing) (4 volunteers needed)

1. Roles: 
1. Guide vendors as they depart and assist in the teardown/cleanup of vendor materials.
2. Inform guests about food and drink options. 
2. Stations: 
1. East side of the Civic Plaza next to the Convention Center

STAGE GUIDES (4 volunteers needed)

1. Roles: 
1. Coordinate run of show for speakers and performers 
2. Coordinate stage entry and exits
3. Assist in stage cleanup if needed
2. Stations: 
1. Al Hurricane Pavilion (Civic Plaza Stage)

PARKING GUIDES (4 volunteers needed)

1. Roles: 
1. Direct guests to the parking structure
2. Inform guests of free parking from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
2. Stations: 
1. Marquette Ave NW Parking Entrance 
2. Tijeras Ave NW Parking Entrance
