Come help Albuquerque's small businesses and children by joining the City of Albuquerque's Economic Development Department for a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) distribution event at the John Marshall Health & Social Service Center.
We'll be handing out boxes of PPE to childcare providers who are in need of these resources on the afternoon of Friday, July 30. We're holding two shifts for the event, but feel free to sign up for both shifts if you have the time.
The volunteer opportunities will include:
- Moving and distributing PPE boxes (boxes are approximately 5-10 pounds each)
- Event set up and tear down
- Clerical activities such tracking and compiling paperwork for PPE recipients
- Directing traffic into the event
