Food Bagging for Native American Communities

Expired

Description

This opportunity has been created to fill bags with non-perishable food items that will be delivered to Native American communities within the state of New Mexico.  In addition to these food items, personal protection equipment (PPE) will also be included.  These bags will be delivered to the Apache communities of Mescalero & Jicarilla, to the Zuni Pueblos, & to the remote Navajo chapter in Alamo, New Mexico.  Our goal is to fill 180 bags of food & PPE.  This will help the community elders & the most vulnerable, as they experience a price hike in groceries & gas.  Your support & assistance is greatly appreciated.  First Nations still practices mask wearing indoors, so as to continue keeping our community members safe & healthy.
