LOCATION: Volunteer Headquarters Half*Life Digital - Nob Hill
OBJECTIVE: Assist patrons by providing general information and direction, selling AFMX merchandise, distributing Festival passes, and providing support to the volunteers.
SKILLS: Strong customer service, positive attitude, and great communication skills. Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Hospitality will report to the Volunteer Coordinator or Venue House Manager and cover a variety of responsibilities, including:
- manage volunteer sign-in sheets
- selling AFMX merchandise, restocking merchandise as needed and keeping the sales area clean and tidy
- distributing Festival passes
- providing general Festival information and directions to patrons
- supporting the volunteer staff by monitoring the volunteer break room to keep personal items safe and secure
- organizing the Crafty (snack food & drink) area of the volunteer room
- coordinating the delivery of meals for volunteers
- overseeing lost & found
