Thank you for signing up to volunteer with AFMX! The Venue Manager is a vital part of our events as you will oversee the production of each event.
We have multiple venues and you will be assigned to yours when you arrive at the beginning of your shift. A check-list of detailed responsibilities will be provided to you.
The responsibilities and requirements include:
- Requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage a small team of dedicated volunteers.
- Greet Host (who will introduce event and panels and special guests) and provide assistance as needed
- Coordinate with Tech team on Audio Visual requirements necessary for each program.
- Coordinate water stations and set-up of stage for panelists and special guests.
- Oversee Ticket Takers and Venue Assistant to ensure they understand their responsibilities and are ready to greet patrons as they arrive.
