The Department of Senior Affairs, Nutrition Division is in need of volunteers to help our team prepare and distribute hot meals to seniors across Albuquerque every day from our central kitchen and other meal sites across the city of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.
We are seeking one-time or ongoing volunteers to assist us on weekdays from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Volunteers may assist in:
- Washing dishes,
- Cleaning floors,
- Wiping down prep tables,
- Stocking shelves,
- Labeling storage containers,
- Documenting temperatures for safety purposes
- Assisting city employees in preparing food.
Together, we can provide meals with care and compassion, helping our community thrive while embracing aging.
