Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Juneteenth event at the Open Space Visitors Center! Your support is crucial in ensuring the success of this important celebration. Below are the various volunteer roles available:

1. General Volunteer

   • Time: 11:30am - 2:00pm
   • Description: Assist with setup, decoration, and other general tasks as needed to prepare for the event.

2. Greeters (Two Volunteers)

   • Time: 1:30pm - 4:00pm
   • Description: Welcome attendees with warmth and enthusiasm, provide information about the event, and direct them to various activities and locations within the center.

3. Parking Attendants

   • Time: 1:30pm - 4:00pm
   • Description: Assist in guiding vehicles to designated parking areas, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic, and providing assistance to visitors as they arrive.

4. Vendor Check-In

   • Time: 1:30pm - 4:00pm
   • Description: Manage the check-in process for vendors, ensuring they have all necessary materials and directing them to their designated booths.

5. Front Desk Volunteers (Two Volunteers)

   • Time: 3:30pm - 6:00pm
   • Description: Provide information to visitors, answer questions, and assist with any inquiries or issues that arise during the event.

6. Front Desk Volunteers (Two Volunteers)

   • Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
   • Description: Continue to provide assistance to visitors, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience for all attendees as the event progresses.

7. Vendor Liaison

   • Time: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
   • Description: Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, addressing any concerns or needs they may have throughout the event.

8. Closing Volunteers (Two Volunteers)

   • Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
   • Description: Assist with cleanup, breakdown of equipment, and other tasks to ensure the venue is left in excellent condition after the event concludes.
