This elementary-aged youth program takes place outdoors exploring nature at the Open Space Visitor Center hiking in the cottonwood forest, along the river, and in the native plant gardens. Program includes hands-on science, literacy, and art activities. Different themes take place each session. Child should attend camp prepared to explore the outdoors: backpack with snack and water bottle, sunhat or sunglasses, sunscreen applied, and closed-toed walking shoes.
