Join the City of Albuquerque Open Space Division and partners for a coffee and clean-up event in the Rio Grande Bosque followed by the Atrisco Acequia Madre Celebration. The Celebration is a community event honoring the site of the Atrisco Acequia Madre headwaters. Community members are invited to help remove trash from the Bosque to promote a clean environment for our river and wildlife. During the celebration, the public will learn about and have the chance to share their ideas for the Atrisco Acequia Madre Master Plan project.
This is a collaborative project between numerous partnering agencies. To learn more about the planning project, visit www.acequiamadreplan.org.
