STEAM Night Elevation Station Host
S.T.E.A.M. Night at the Balloon Museum is an evening event for curious minds of all ages. Four times a year, the museum explores a new science, technology, engineering, art, or math theme related to ballooning through performances, demonstrations, experimentation, and hands-on activities.
Position Information: Hosts create an engaging and welcoming environment for children and adults in the interactive Elevation Station exhibit. They encourage healthy participation by modeling interactive game play on the touch table, on the projection walls, and at the wind tunnels. Hosts monitor the capacity in the exhibit, keep the space tidy, replenish materials, clean high-touch surface areas, and coordinate with Museum staff to troubleshoot technical issues in the exhibit, if needed.
Considerations: Continuous standing, walking, and bending required inside of the museum at the Elevation Station exhibit.
Be sure to sign up for the 2024 Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteer Training on either Monday, September 23rd at 9:30 am OR Saturday, September 28th at 2 pm | Click here to sign up
