Stories In The Sky is a standing weekly program offered on Wednesdays at 9:30 am and 11:00 am for Pre-Kindergarten to 1st grade students. Each week, the museum will explore new themes that allow young visitors to enjoy the Balloon Museum through stories, music, movement, crafts, and hands-on activities.
Activity Assistants: Volunteers will assist Balloon Museum staff in setting up hands-on activities before the event and breaking them down after the event. During the event, volunteers will create an engaging and welcoming environment by inviting visitors to participate in hands-on activities, demonstrating activities, and answering questions. Volunteers will keep the space tidy, replenish supplies, and clean up after guests as needed.
Shifts: Activity Assistant shifts for Stories In The Sky are available as needed. Please check back for more shifts in the future. Current shifts are on:
- Wednesday, March 23rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Accessibility: Continuous standing, walking, and bending required.
Required Training: Volunteers are required to attend the New Volunteer Orientation before attending their first shift.
