Join the fun as a field trip volunteer at the Balloon Museum! We introduce young learners to the concepts of buoyancy and ballooning through hands-on activities, museum tours, and a walk inside a real hot air balloon envelope. Volunteers gently encourage discovery-based learning while celebrating the spirit of innovation and exploration that fueled the development of lighter-than-air flight.
This training will provide all you need to join our crew of field trip volunteers.
Field trips run most Tuesday and Friday mornings, November through May. Volunteers select days that fit their own schedules.
