The City of Albuquerque has doubled the capacity of free Wifi hotspots in the City during the pandemic.
We want to make sure the community knows about this resource and is able to use if their home wifi is not working properly or if they need access while outside their home.
Currently the list of Wifi is: https://www.cabq.gov/coronavirus-information/wifi
We are looking for 20 volunteers that can visit 20 business (next to the wifi locations) to ask to put flyers in the business and distribute materials about the wifi connections.
This is an outreach campaign to teach the community about this important resource during the pandemic.
Use of masks and following COVID-19 protocol is essential.
Training will be provided.
We hope to start distribution in the week of October 19-30.
