Join ABQ RIDE in a Day of Service!

Pitch in to make our transit system beautiful.

ABQ Ride is hosting a day of service for bus stops in the International District on Saturday, May 31st from 9am to 12pm.

Volunteers will convene at the Uptown Transit Center located at 2121 Indiana St. NE, 87110 and will canvas bus stops and ART stations from Girard to Wyoming during this event. Transportation between stops will be provided by ABQ RIDE, so please sign up and let us know if you're bringing friends so that we plan for everyone. This clean up is essential for beautifying the Pride Parade route!

Why is it important to support the local transit system?

The transit system is a public asset and a way to get around town without needing personal transportation. While many residents prefer personal transportation, it is an important back up option to have!

Choosing public transit is a more sustainable and ecologically-friendly way to move through Albuquerque. As our world experiences more extreme weather, choosing transportation that reduces our impacts on the environment is an easy way to make a difference.

As gasoline remains expensive, more Albuquerque residents may choose to ride the bus, rather than fill up tank after tank.

An attractive system promotes ridership! Even if you don't use the bus, contributing to an attractive transit system makes it more appealing and safer for others. Help Albuquerque build and maintain a world-class transit system.
