Fiesta Fanatics Community Cleanup

Let's come together in our local communities to make our city shine ahead of the best time of year in Albuquerque! The City of Albuquerque Solid Waste Management Department and Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, in partnership with Imagine ABQ and the Parks and Recreation Department, invite you to take part in the annual Fiesta Fanatics Neighborhood Cleanup. Held one week before the 54th Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, this citywide volunteer effort brings neighbors together to help make Albuquerque clean, welcoming, and ready to shine.

Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or neighborhood association and organize a cleanup in your community. Whether it's a park, trail, street, or neighborhood entrance, every cleanup helps create a cleaner, more beautiful Albuquerque for residents and the hundreds of thousands of visitors who travel here for Balloon Fiesta each year.

The Solid Waste Management Department will provide cleanup supplies and arrange collection of all bagged litter from one central pickup location for each registered neighborhood cleanup.

Cleanup supplies include:

• Garbage bags

• Litter pickers

• Gloves

• Safety vests

Collected litter will be picked up and properly disposed of by the Solid Waste Management Department's Clean Cities Division.

This is a great opportunity to make a visible difference in your neighborhood, connect with fellow volunteers, and show your Albuquerque pride before one of the world's most iconic events.
