The Summer Reading Program offered by the Public Library of Albuquerque-Bernalillo County is a free, community-wide initiative that runs for eight weeks each summer and invites people of all ages to read (or be read to), set personalized reading goals, log their progress, and participate in fun activities and events at library branches throughout Albuquerque. Participants can earn weekly incentive prizes and entries into grand prize drawings while exploring books and other reading materials at their own pace, with special programs, creative workshops, and family-friendly experiences woven into the summer calendar.
