Ambassadors help riders feel confident navigating the ABQ RIDE transit system with schedule, timing and directional information while promoting safety and good customer service. They serve as a welcoming presence on buses and at transit centers, and their support will improve efficiency, reduce confusion, and foster a sense of community among passengers. Whether helping with route information, directional assistance, or offering a friendly smile, ABQ RIDE Ambassadors make public transit more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Ambassadors must be confident in their duties and environment. For this purpose, we have designed a comprehensive training to help you will the appropriate skills that will help you deal with any situation that may arise. Initially we will be conducting in-person training at the David Rusk facility on Yale at St. Cyr. With 6 different modules, training will take 2 days of 4 hours each for completion. When you are qualified to respond to this opportunity, you will get access to more detailed information and scheduling availability for the training. Initial spots for the program launch are limited.
