Volunteer: Mentor for aspiring youth health professionalNHI is seeking mentors for our Healers of Tomorrow (HOT) program. Mentors should be individuals in health professions (any specialty!- doctor, nurse, dentist, vet, therapist, traditional healer, medical student. etc). Mentors will be paired with a high school student interested in health careers. The program meets the first Saturday of the month from September 2026-May 2027 for three hours. Additionally mentors will be asked to check in once with their mentee each month (virtual okay). A brief volunteer mentor training will be held in August. Mentors are expected to participate in the full program.
