Volunteer: Classroom Volunteers Needed! JA in a Day: Spring 2026

Empower Young Minds in Just One Day!

Junior Achievement of New Mexico is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our JA in a Day Events! This one-day commitment is a fun and engaging way to inspire elementary students with lessons on financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Event Details: volunteers will check in around 8:00 am and teach five Junior Achievement sessions consecutively in an elementary classroom until 2:30 pm. All materials, training, and lunch are provided! No prior teaching experience is necessary - just a willingness to share your experiences and engage with students.

What You'll Do:

Teach a structured JA course (materials provided)Share real-world insights to inspire young learnersFacilitate interactive activities that make learning fun.

You don't need teaching experience, as all scripts and learning materials are provided. All that's needed is a passion to inspire and prepare students for economic success, while sharing your personal and professional experiences.
