Who We Are
We are a group of local history lovers. What unites our group is our determination to preserve Albuquerque’s past for the future. We have "specialists" in multiple areas of historic preservation, addressing subjects such as: Route 66, women's suffrage, baseball, aviation, auto racing, as well as Italian, Greek and French immigrants in Albuquerque
What We Do
Historic ABQ Incorporated (HAI), formed in 1999, is a not-for-profit, regional, proactive organization exploring, preserving, guarding and restoring Albuquerque’s heritage. We believe our city’s treasures are not only the stories of our people, but the irreplaceable buildings, design elements and artifacts which embody their dreams and hopes.
