Global Give-A-Book (GGAB) provides new, high-quality books with dignity to low-income children, fostering a love of reading and promoting literacy in underserved communities.
We envision a world where every child has the opportunity to build a better life through access to books, literacy, and learning, regardless of their background or circumstances.
What We Do
Since our founding, GGAB has gifted over 28,000 new, quality books to children across New Mexico. Our impact includes school distributions, community pantry partnerships, after-school Read-a-Thons at community centers, and collaborations with local agencies serving children experiencing poverty and homelessness. Through these efforts, we give children a fighting chance through literacy!
Through partnerships with organizations like APS Title I Homeless Project and Peter’s Paycheck, we combine educational support with inclusive community impact. Guided by our values of determination, adventure, encouragement, and fortitude, we spark a love of reading and empower children to thrive.
