Who We Are
Established in 1982 by Eva Encinias, the National Institute of Flamenco is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded and based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, that reaches thousands through the art of flamenco. The Institute's core programs are Festival Flamenco Alburquerque, Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory Company, and community arts engagement initiatives like the Conservatory of Flamenco Arts and Flamenco in Your Neighborhood.
