Who We Are
The holiday season is quickly approaching, and plans are being made for the 28th Annual Cops for Kids event. Cops for Kids is a nonprofit organization 501(c) (3) working with the Albuquerque Police Department to promote collaborative partnerships between law enforcement and the community. What We Do
Currently, Albuquerque Metropolitan Crimestoppers and APD are focused on bringing in donation for our Cops for Kids event.
On average (120-125), children are selected to participate in this Christmas event each year. Referrals for consideration come from Albuquerque Public Schools, law enforcement, and social services. Children are selected based on household income and available funding. Our goal is to help 125 children and their families.
Our event will be Sunday, December 11, 2022, and is often the only Christmas these children will have.
