WHAT IS AVID?
AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a college readiness system for elementary through higher education that is designed to increase school-wide learning and performance.
Regardless of life circumstances, AVID students overcome obstacles and achieve success to graduate and attend college at higher rates.More importantly, they learn to think critically, collaborate, and set high expectations to confidently conquer the challenges that await them.
