Who We Are

Street cat Hub was founded on August 5, 2014, with a mission to serve the city of Albuquerque and surrounding areas with the spay and neuter of free roaming feral and community cats. The organization provides services for between 2,000 and 3,000 cats annually, and the TNR program has resulted in a reduction in cat euthanasia numbers at our city shelter from 7,225 in 2009 to 288 in 2019.

What We Do

Street Cat HUB’s mission is to serve the city of Albuquerque and surrounding areas with the spay and neuter of free roaming cats. Street Cat Hub also runs foster and adoption programs to place suitable adoption candidates into homes instead of returning them to the streets, with between 15 and 50 cats and kittens in foster care and on the adoption floor at any given time.
